Why EPC is an Excellent Buy Opportunity Today

With the advent of number of dapps, tribes and SCOT bot tokens on Steem and Steem Engine, the 'attention' of our Steem community has got distributed in several segments. Now people are engaging their time in several sub-groups (a.k.a. tribes) or in interacting with many dApps and games available in Steem ecosystem. It's getting difficult to keep up with all the fast paced development happening on Steem even for the full time Steemians.
Aside that, the newly introduced token economy has transferred a lot of liquid STEEM from several users to SE and dApp teams. Now people have got several different tokens in their wallet in exchange of their STEEM.
Through these opportunities, some were successful in enhancing the total value of their wallet with the rise in prices of the tokens they bought with STEEM. But it's always difficult to identify and make use of the right opportunity to our advantage.
So today I'm going to talk about one such opportunity that came to my notice.

Yes, I want to talk about EPC - the token of the open-sourced gambling dApp Epic Dice.
The last sold price of EPC on Steem Engine was only 0.00005 STEEM per EPC token.
Epic Dice platform currently offers a simple Dice game. Wagering STEEM also earns EPC (they call it mining mechanism for EPC). Mining rate is currently at its first stage and players earn 100 EPC for every STEEM wagered. This rate will be halved for every 10% of mined tokens. Thus the EPC prices are expected to increase with the first halving (which is about half way now).

EPC price calculation based on Prize Pool feature
Epic Dice platform has an innovative feature called Prize Pool. A limited amount of STEEM is made available in Prize Pool. This can be earned by wagering with EPC.
Currently 100K EPC is valued at 1.125 STEEM for wagering to win from this prize pool. Whatever EPC amount you wager, 5% of it is burnt. Thus effectively, for every 5K EPC burnt (when you wager 100K EPC), you receive 1.125 STEEM plus your winning amount. Thus 1.125 STEEM for 5K EPC works out to be 0.00025 STEEM per EPC.
This makes market price of 0.00005 STEEM as 4.5x cheaper than platform's Prize Pool rates.

Epic Dice project is a very promising project. Only last week, they introduced compatibility with Steem Connect. This makes playing on mobile devices possible now.
The team is also working on a new game that is expected to be released soon.
And among all these developments, halving is coming closer every day.
All these makes this token very attractive to earn passive dividend income as well as appreciation in token prices.
In my humble opinion, current market price is a steal in case you are looking to invest in some project on Steem blockchain.
Personally, I'd like to buy as much as possible at this price. I feel, it won't get any cheaper than this,
