This is Why I Don't Use BRAVE Browser
The day before I had reviewed an app where it distributes cryptos by gamifying certain activities. Gamification is the in thing these days. Everyone is trying to rekindle interest through gamification everywhere.
In the fashion of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? game show or its Indianized version, Kaun Banega Crorepati?, a trivia gaming app has been launched with the name Bitcoin Play by none other than McAfee antivirus creator Mr. John McAfee.
It's a simple quiz game where you are rewarded in Satoshis (smaller Bitcoin units) for answering the questions correctly. As in the TV game show, the questions gets tougher with every correct answer and rewards also gets higher with your every correct answer. In case, you don't know or are unsure of the answer, you can opt from one of the 3 available lifelines like 50-50 (eliminating 50% of incorrect options), time extension or skipping a question.
The app also allows users to compete against each other in John McAfee Weekly Competition League and have a chance to win extra rewards.
Overall, it's a fun way to get into crypto for newbies. The reward won't really turn you into a millionaire but what you get here is certainly better than many free faucets. After using this app, you will find other faucet websites very boring. Gamification of faucet is an interesting idea put in practice by this app.
After every game you lose, you, you are served some paid advertisement. Only when you have finished viewing it, you can participate in the new game. So these ads generate revenue for this app.
Before you can withdraw your earnings from this app, you need to accumulate a minimum of 40,000 Satoshis.
Personally, I find the maximum 10 second time allocation for reading the question, all 4 alternatives for answering and then actually choosing the right answer is very short. I'm a slow and lazy reader, so this thing isn't for me. But if you are quick, you will have all the fun there.
The app is currently available for Android platform only but John McAfee says that he will soon release its iOS version too.
