...to the Moon, for 50 years
Today, it's been 50 years, we reached the Moon. (No, I ain't actually talking about STEEM here).
50 years back, it was on this day that humans walked on the surface of the Moon for the first time in the known history.
No doubt this is the day for celebration for whole of humanity. But today we dream about going to the Mars. Did going to the Moon lost all the craze?
Till date only a dozen humans have walked over the Moon and surprisingly no one landed their twice. All these people landed on the Moon between 1969 and 1972 only. No one went to moon since 1972!!! It's a long break, isn't it?
Even to celebrate 50th anniversary of Moon - landing, NASA is only sending some astronauts to International Space Station by Soyuz spacecraft. Can't someone have landed on the Moon today too?
