This Was Swami Vivekananda's Home

While climbing up a hillock in Aravalis range of mountain in Rajasthan (in India), I stumbled upon this place.

This is a small natural cave above Nakki lake at Mt. Abu. Here meditated the great Swami Vivekananda for about two weeks.

Today, it is occupied by a wandering saint who found this cave lying unoccupied and made it his home last month. He is still staying here.

On request, he readily gave me permission to click these pictures.

Of course, the door (in the first picture) was put up later on. But saint told me that local tribal people don't allow him to put in any other luxury or comfort

This is another smaller cave adjacent to this one:

This cave is still lying unoccupied.

Any takers for it?* 😉
