This is Why I Don't Use BRAVE Browser
It offers its virtual Debit Cards as well as physical Debit Cards that you can top up with not only STEEM but about 89 types of cryptocurrencies.
You can shop in USD / GBP / EUR or any cryptocurrencies. If you pay with a different currency than you topped up your card, there is a conversion charges of only 3%.
You can do card to card transfers, make ATM withdrawals, link your card with Paypal etc. and all these without holding a bank account. Its Debit Card is acceptable worldwide and you can also withdraw cash from about 34 million ATM machines. Uquid cards comes as a VISA card so it's acceptable wherever VISA is accepted.
Virtual Card can be issued instantly while processing and delivering a physical card might take a few weeks. But both types of cards have a validity for 3 years.
You can top up with your crypto. All crypto is held safe by a third party service provider BitGo.
There is a restricted list of about a dozen countries where these cards are not delivered including USA and Bangladesh (The website suggests to use any other country's name at the time of applying for a virtual card). But thankfully India is not on this list.
But when I tried to buy a new card, the website said, "Sorry, the service requested is not available. Please try again later."
I also tried to download the Android app linked from their website but it wasn't a valid link.
So I am wondering if it is really available in India. Although I don't want to pay any application or subscription fee apart from conversion charges for using this card but it can be a good option in some cases. I think this type of cards can also be used for making international payments where several restrictions apply for Indian cards e,g, spot trading in forex. So I just wanted to explore the possibilities.
The simple one step STEEM-to-USD conversion looks very friendly to me.
