Launching of Crypto Grievance Redressal Platform for Indians
It was during EmergTech event being held at Mumbai today. This event by Inblox is an initiative to aid the development of community who is working in the field of blockchain development and new emerging technologies such as AI, Robotics and Machine Learning.
In a presentation session by Kashif Raza who is well known in the Indian crypto community through his YouTube channel Crypto Kanoon, he expressed his concern on the rampant frauds and scams in the arena of cryptocurrencies in India. Giving his own example, he told that even experienced people can fall victim to such scammers.
According to Kashif, Crypto Kanoon was born to spread awareness in Indian crypto community about ongoing scams and scammers and to discourage their motives. Since cryptocurrency is still an unregulated field in the country, it is difficult to prove such scams and take concrete legal actions against scammers.
So today, he unveiled a crypto grievance redressal platform for fighting injustice called Crypto Complaints dot org.
When consumers are cheated, they can easily seek justice from Consumer Courts in India. But there wasn't any window available for victims of crypto scams. Now anyone will be able to take the help of lawyers, advocates, professionals and experts in the crypto space like Kashid Raza, Varun Sethi etc. in such cases. People can file their complaint categorywise. Every effort will be made to provide redressal and advise for the solution for the complaints. This service will be provided at zero cost.
