This is Why I Don't Use BRAVE Browser
At first, a very happy international Women's Day to all amazing humans!
Yes, only humans!
Actually, I give more importance to humanity than femininity. I still don't understand much about all this talk of feminism.
Last year, my post on this subject was heavily flagged with some good bullying and display of angst from so-called feminists of Steem. All flags are welcomed at my blog even today but it would certainly be much better if you can explain your view-point to me. Just flagging my content won't change my view point or understanding.
Unfortunately, all those "so-called" staunch feminists haven't written anything about feminism this year. Most of them have disappeared from this platform. But I'm sure there are many new ones here now. Sadly, I don't have any bandwidth to write a detailed post on this subject today but I'll point out to my last year's post for those who are interested to read it. Go here:
I still hold the same view. If as a feminist, you find it okay to intentionally victimize innocent female animals, then how can you shout for an equal right when you yourself become a victim? There is no doubt, that every act of victimization is an injustice towards the victim. But acceptance of selective victimization on the basis of "superior" or "inferior" species is degrading the movement of feminism to a lowly level.
The basis of almost all of animal farming industry is the exploitation of female reproductive system and denial of fundamental rights to their motherhood. Every year, hundreds of billions of female animals are being victimized and their offspring are being slaughtered, eggs and milk are being stolen, their infants are separated immediately after the birth...
Unfortunately, women, who understand motherhood better and who are aware of their own rights are also taking part in unnecessary sexual abuse of innocent animals through their diet and lifestyle.
Unless the feminism movement turns inclusive, it won't serve all earthlings.
It won't ever establish the glory and grace of motherhood and womanhood.
That's why I started this post with emphasis on humanity.
If only humanity can be infused back in human society, there won't be any need for feminism or of days like IWD.
This year's official theme for IWD is #balanceforbetter . These are beautiful yet contradictory words. No, I ain't going to post any photo of my pose with palms stretching out to demonstrate a fake balancing act!
All these talk of gender equality is misunderstood. What does equality actually mean?
Can womanhood be ever compared to manhood? It's a stupid comparison.
Can you compare apples with oranges? or a Sun and a stone?
A womanhood is an existence at a very different level. Similarly, manhood is a different dimension of existence. How can both be compared and how can both be ever equal in all aspects!
And when you say "Balance For Better"; I say this term is contradictory in itself. "Balance" represents equality but the superlative term "better" defines some superiority, implying one as better than other. Thus one is superior to the other. How can it denote the equality or balance?
So this term is misleading. If humanity is empowered, everything else will fall in place.
Did you know, there is some percentage of femininity in every man and some percentage of masculinity in every women? Does that need any balancing?
I came across a funny message from a dating app today:
3 out of every 10 conversations are started by women. What if 2019 was the year we got to 50-50? #BalanceForBetter
He he he! If IWD is targeting 50-50 everywhere, then it's actually going to create a huge mess.
Let's first learn to stick to humanity. Trust me, everyone will live just fine!
