This is Why I Don't Use BRAVE Browser
These days there are several mobile apps to monitor, track and encourage our fitness activity on a regular basis. Everyone on Steem blockchain must be aware of its own dapp called @actifit that rewards its users with its own token as well as with upvotes that earn Steem while there are many like Google Fit, Fitbit etc. that don't give any monetary rewards.
Recently, I came across a mobile app that has initiated a campaign to reward as much as up to INR 5 crores.
Rewards include:
5 lakh in cash
iPhone XR phone
One Plus 6T mobile phone
Samsung Galaxy M10 phone
...and many more.
What else, there is no participation fee and you only have to earn activity points and claim rewards associated to the number of points earned.
A Stanford University research has ranked India at 39th rank on the activity score of its population. It has found that citizens are more likely to be active in more walkable cities.
Average step count of Indians is only 4297 below the world average of 4961 though Global Health Authorities recommend to walk 10,000 steps daily to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.
Therefore, smart preventive healthcare app GOQii has launched a 100 day GOQii India Steps Challenge 2019 with the hash tag #AbChalegaIndia. It encourages all to take at least 6000 steps daily. Every 100 step earns 1 point.
Not only you can redeem your activity points earned during the campaign period with various rewards, you can also take advantage of many other services of the app. This app does much more than basic activity tracking and also gives your family access to professional GOQii Care Team. It has online personal coaches, doctors, nutritional consultants, health experts, health related articles, live video stream sessions etc.
There are features to check your friends' activities and chat with them. You can also redeem your points to buy from their health store.
With GOQii Karma, you can also convert your Karma points to cash for donating it to some charity of your choice.
To explore all its features, you need to try it once. With the ongoing campaign, I think it's worth exploring now. The India Steps Challenge 2019 started on 22nd February and will end on 1st June, 2019.
So quicker you join in, the better. And you also get extra 300 points if you refer any of your friends to join this #challenge.
Here is my referral, in case you want to use it:
Although all rewards you claim with your points are free but you need to pay the taxes and delivery charges. So do keep that in mind too.
I also found that GOQii app counts shows a lower step count as compared to Actifit app or Google Fit app. So be prepared to walk more than expected or try to engage in more brisk walking or more vigorous activity. But may be, that's my personal experience ...as I'm a slow walker and could be different for you.
Have a happy and active life always!
