This is Why I Don't Use BRAVE Browser
Hello friends!
We all know that the controversial draft bill "Banning of Cryptocurrencies and Regulation of Official Digital Currencies Bill 2019" that was submitted to the Government by the committee headed by S. K. Garg has a high probability to be presented in the parliament during this budget session. We don't know the exact content of the draft yet but its title itself says a lot.
So shouldn't we start voicing our sentiments and demands about what we want in the field of blockchain and cryptocurrency from our Government?
Recently, Indian Government has invited all its citizens for submitting ideas and suggestions for this year's budget.
I scrolled down through hundreds of suggestions there but to my surprise, not a single one was related to the field of blockchain and cryptocurrencies!
Wouldn't it be good to raise our voice where it matters? I was expecting a few hundred suggestions and ideas from the Indian crypto community there and wanted to add mine too. But I wonder, why can't I see any such initiative from the crypto community!
Of course, there is a remote possibility of implementing what we suggest but it will send a strong message to the Government about the pro-crypto sentiments of Indian citizens. This will definitely compel it to re-think on the recommendations being made in the above-said draft bill if it isn't any favourable towards developing the crypto ecosystem in India.
So what kind of ideas and suggestions you would like to submit there?
Can you tell me what should I suggest there?
Should I tell them to give a tax-free status to the crypto transactions for an initial period of say, 5 years to promote this budding industry?
Should I demand huge subsidies for all crypto and blockchain based projects to promote entrepreneurs in this field?
Should I ask to start specialized courses in Government institutes and Universities to prepare students for job and business opportunities being presented in this industry?
Shouldn't Government take initiatives to create Special Economic Zones in every State to promote and protect the interest of Crypto startups?
I think we need to convey our expectations to the Government when they are willing to hear from us.
Not only this, at the end of this month, our Prime Minister is going to deliver his regular Mann Ki Baat talk to share his mind & plans with the citizens.
Here too, ideas from citizens are being invited and phone lines have opened up from today. You can also submit your ideas here.
Shouldn't we try to convey our message directly to the PM using this platform? I think, time is running up and we should use every available platform to speak up our mind and create an atmosphere for a healthy eco-system for cryptocurrencies in our country.
