How Many mm is the Winterfall at Your Place?

You may not have heard such a question before.

But you do know that rainfall is measured in mm or cm and snowfall is reported in inches or feet. So why don't we measure winter on our scale!

I've my own gauge for measuring the intensity of cold weather in winters at my place. I measure it with my morning coffee.

Every morning I drink a steaming hot coffee in the same glass. But as the winter starts, my coffee starts getting cold sooner.

On colder days, the bottom portion of my coffee becomes so cold that it spoils the taste of hot coffee I was drinking.

So I measure the coldness quotient (CQ) according to the portion of coffee I was able to drink comfortably or the portion I couldn't.

Here's my today's glass of coffee. I was able to drink about half of it i.e. 40mm and the remaining half got cold or staled!

So the intensity of the winter at my place is about 40mm or 50% from its peak (when I won't be able to drink coffee
at all in my bed). 😂😂😂

How cold is your coffee? 😛
