Here comes Satoshi Nakamoto!

It's beyond any doubt that Bitcoin has been one of the most revolutionary invention of the century, particularly, in the world of finance. It has redefined the definition of money.

But to me, more than the Bitcoin, what fascinates even more is the mysterious presence of its anonymous inventor(s). Recognized by the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto, no one knows anything about the person(s) behind this name. What is the gender of Satoshi Nakamoto, how many persons this pseudonym actually represents, what's their nationality; all such questions are unanswered for over a decade now. Not even the Noble Prize nomination could persuade Satoshi Nakamoto to reveal his/her/their identity.

Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoin wallet has about a million bitcoin in it but nothing in these ten years could persuade Satoshi to touch that wallet ...no, not even the last year's Bitcoin bull run.

On the other hand, the debate behind who the real Satoshi Nakamoto is, never cools down. Many people have claimed themselves as Satoshi Nakamoto. Bitcoin Cash Satoshi Vision's (BSV) Craig Wright has been adamant to proclaim himself as the real Satoshi though he could never prove it. Whatever proofs he has given so far have been nothing more than mere manipulations. All those proofs were proven false or bogus by many people, thus reducing Craig Wright to a laughing stock. But recently he has gone to the extent of suing people for defaming him.

Last month, John McAfee claimed that he knows Satoshi Nakamoto and he will reveal Satoshi's true identity if he himself doesn't reveal it. But some time later, he shared a letter from his attorney advising him against doing this.

All these stories keep adding to the mystery of Satoshi Nakamoto and adds fuel to several theories and speculations. These stories are what make it all the more interesting.

Mysterious way to reveal a mysterious person

Last week a website called GotSatoshi popped up stating that it is going to do "live unveiling" of Satoshi. Who put up this website is not known. But its Twitter handle claims that it's not Craig Wright but may know John McAfee.

This website has a count down timer running up for the live unveiling of Satoshi Nakamoto, which at the time of writing this is about 10 days 21 hours away.

Are you ready to meet Satoshi Nakamoto? If yes, you need to sign up at this website with your email ID for the live unveiling. But don't blame me if this is some email farming website. I've absolutely no idea who is behind this website.

There are about 2,000 followers of its Twitter account and Huobi Global is one of them. But this doesn't lend any authenticity to it. You should be willing to share your email if you are really curious but remember, curiosity kills the cat. However, I've myself signed up there. I'd like to be part of this drama ...LOL!

All said and done, I'd always like this mystery to continue forever and the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto is never revealed to anyone. How about you?
