Finally June Has Come. What's So Exciting @ EOS?
Lo and behold, the most awaited June is there!
For over 2 months, a lot of hype has been created for the June 1 event of Block.One, the company behind EOS.
EOS ICO was introduced in June 2 years back. Last year in June, EOSIO Mainnet went live. June has become the annual product release cycle for EOS. So the EOSIO co-founder Dan has created quite a hype around this event. He has promised the “biggest announcement ever” that would impact EOS on June 1st 2019.
There are lot of expectations and people are guessing what it could be. In the hope of something huge, EOS prices has already skyrocketed.
We don't know yet what is actually going to be announced but the news arriving in the run up to the event are elevating too.
Block.One is in possession of 140,000 Bitcoins and 3 days back it has unstaked 3.3 million EOS to buy RAM for some unknown purpose.
In the light of these people are wondering if something as big as scaling of BTC transactions could be possible with the help of EOSIO. May be, this much RAM is being purchased to onboard mass user base on the go.
Could it be the announcement of launching Telegram Coin (TON) on EOSIO chain?
This week it also released mobile wallet code with face recognition feature for iOS and Android. The EOS Authenticator App is said to be the most secure way for the blockchain users.
Yesterday, I already covered the launch of EOS DNS by one of its BP here. And now Coinbase too have listed EOS ahead of this event.
Today, Bitfinex has announced to launch its Tether (USDT) on EOS. These themselves are huge news!
Aside these, launching of STEEM 2.0 or MEOS is also a possibility. Talks of launching a decentralized exchange integrated in its wallet are also doing rounds.
There is also a possibility of conducting a parallel election in USA in 2020 using EOSIO software.
We already know that last month Free Republic of Liberland ( @liberlandpress) has already announced to use EOSIO for running its Decentralized Autonomous Government through blockchain.
So people are really looking upto some grand announcement today. We don't know what will actually turn out. But one thing is for sure, all eyes are set on EOS for now.
