This is Why I Don't Use BRAVE Browser
No, I ain't trying to learn or teach ABCD here. But I'm wondering about the speed with which dapps are switching blockchains these days.
SteemHunt, Karma, Prospectors and several other prominent dapps have moved or in the process of moving from one blockchain platform to the other that I've even lost the track of all these developments.
Some are leaving chains like EOS, NEO and Steem while some are moving to them! All these is making me confused about which chain is better from the developers' perspective!
Yeah, I can understand that every dapp may have different reasons and objectives for their decision. E.g. Dlive's move from Lino to Tron may give them exposure to a 100 million strong BitTorrent community, their decentralized BTFS file sharing system or Blive ...and no doubt it may be a huge advantage for their project. But such continuously rapid moves in cryptosphere are torrential & tumultuous to me and I've lost the interest & energy to keep track of all these developments in this field.
No, I ain't going to create a new wallet or account on a new blockchain just because some dapp decided to move to it.
I'd rather like to wait for quite some time until some sort of stability is there in this blockchain field before I spend time to gather news about various projects. Everything here looks in a constant state of motion in every direction. As an average person, its no more worthwhile for me to observe and gather information about developments in so many projects when it hardly reflects in their market prices. When these dapps - their underlying technology becomes time-tested and get matures enough, I'll definitely like to reap their benefits as a user but there is no fun in becoming a guinea pig!
These are my spontaneous thoughts on this New Year's Eve regarding the state of cryptosphere today.
Wishing you all an amazing 2020!
