Are You Participating in 2020 Food Revolution Summit & Food Systems Summit?

In these days of complete lockdown at home, I've seen a lot of data traffic coming my way. I saw an influx of many online webinars, conferences and meetings.

My internet provider also offered a free internet for a month of lockdown.

But how much data can you consume?

I was never a friend of watching videos and movies.

So last week, I registered for these free online summits:

2020 Food Revolution Summit

and

Food Systems Summit.

When you have plenty of time, free data and free meetings and information sharing sessions by world renowned experts in their domain, why won't you like to get on board!

Well, I registered to many of such webinars. In fact, there are so many webinar invites for me that even 24 hours ain't enough for me to consume them all :)

But when I tried to attend one of these webinars despite of odd hours they livestream these events as per my local time, I didn't found it very appealing. It seemed to me that they take your time for granted. These summit session went on for over 3 hours ....like what! They already began well past midnight! I had to drop out of participating in all these online events. I really dunno how people find them so interesting. It wasn't at all convenient to me when you are awake in the hopoe to get some precious information and host keeps on talking to engage audience in the hope of getting more people online for 10-15 minutes and then we wait for speaker to get connected and then testing sound etc. ....I was done with it by then.

Next morning they sent me a recorded video version. If it was a text, I could scan quickly and would read things of my interest. But how to scan a 3-4 hour long video and that too without any time stamps!

Any boy, I'm complaining about free webinars! There are so many paid ones too. I dunno how they are much different though I never tried any.

Although these ones are only 1 hour in length, I think, I first need to learn how to watch videos efficiently 😀. When you write, you put a good amount of thinking in each word and serve a well organized content to your readers. But videos seem so much waste of time with the amount of casual and small talks in it. How do you guys get to the important clips by skipping the rest?

Is there any webinar for learning to consume video content efficiently? 😜
