A Magical Evening in My Steem Life

Tonight it feels like I'm on Moon!

Don't get me wrong! Steem is still under half a dollar price. But today I got a huge surprise bounty.

For about two years of my existence on Steem blockchain, I had participated in several competitions, contests, challenges, lucky draws and what not. I did wIn several prizes and rewards in those. But never did I wIn a bounty of such magnitude. My wallet is bulging with tokens today.

I won 300 STEEM (yes, there are two zeroes following 3) and half a million MAGIC tokens from the first Steem casino called Magic Dice.

Most people on Steem believe in giving more rewards for work that require more effort to create. In spite of it, it's unfortunate that many works created after a hell lot of effort by several Steemians goes unnoticed and under-rewarded. But casinos are a game changer in this belief system.

Nothing genius! I just resteemed a Magic Dice post and forgot about it.

And voila! Today I came to know that resteeming that post has earned me this prize!!! What a euphoric feeling, my Gosh!

Sometimes the best things in life are given without even asking for it. And today was one such day in my Steem life.

A couple of months back, when Magic Dice launched its casino on Steem blockchain, I had written a bunch of posts on the trend of casino games launching on blockchain and how we should be careful while gambling on these. However, when Magic Dice launched its own MAGIC tokens, I was quite angry that they didn't declare it beforehand that these tokens will be distributed to all players retrospectively. If they had declared it in advance, I too have mined a lot of MAGIC tokens when the mining rate was most favourable.

But now, with half a million MAGIC tokens in my wallet, I'm more than happy. I'm finally feeling like a casino owner on Steem blockchain and proud to be the owner of tokens of first casino of Steem blockchain. I'd like to keep holding these tokens for as long as I can!
